Match the audiobook to the drive, not the other way around
The runtime on the listing is only the start. Stops, music and missed chapters take part of the road back.
We plan with the time a family expects to listen, then remove 15 minutes. That keeps the final chapter out of the hotel parking lot.
For longer trips, a few shorter books can give the car better stopping points than one long recording. The planner compares both shapes.
